Quality live dead concert in an era when the dead were otherwise struggling. Pros are uncle johns band (which sounds excellent) and a really great rendition of drums. The dead ending the concert with a cover version of the Beatles’ song rain is really interesting and cool. My only con is the weird choice to end volume 1 with half of playing in the band and picking up with the other half here when it would’ve fit on either record comfortably. The first half of the concert (volume 1) is stronger but volume 2 is gonna get a lot of play on my turntable too!
